Energy is an incredible thing. I have had the pleasure over the years of spending time with hundreds of entrepreneurs in a room for a conference (I went multiple times), and to say the energy in the room is electric would be an understatement.
Being around so many amazing people reminds me of a lesson I received some time ago about the influence of energy.
I have mentioned before that wealth creation is a long game. It doesn’t happen overnight…
To be successful at creating wealth you need to apply your systems with patience and diligence. The power of cumulative returns will deliver you the financial freedom you seek, as long as you give it the time.
But what enables you to continue to apply your systems… Energy!
You see, you need to be the one that makes things happen in your life. And this will only come by applying energy to everything you do.
Being around hundreds of successful entrepreneurs, and even those that are just starting out, makes it abundantly clear what it takes to succeed. You need to have the energy to keep on going, no matter what.
I would always spend my time at these conferences speaking with and learning from so many entrepreneurs that are so passionate about their chosen field. Whether it be fitness, nutrition, coaching, wealth creation, software or gadgets, the energy was always incredible.
The common trait of each of these people was the desire to succeed and their complete devotion to make it happen… inspiring!
Too many people spend their life waiting for success, abundance or happiness to come to them…
We’ve become obsessed with responding to and meeting everybody else’s expectations, just think Facebook, Twitter, Snapchat, Instagram, that we no longer have time for our own dreams.
It won’t come as a surprise to you to learn that nothing worth having just comes to you, you have to do something to make it happen, to achieve, to succeed.

How to Find Energy
You can gain energy from others, I know I have, but that won’t sustain you for long. Ultimately you need to find a way to generate your own energy on a consistent basis.
The best way to find energy is to do what you enjoy…
Find ways to expand yourself, deliver more and more value to others, pursue your passion.
When you embrace this expansive style of thinking, you will add a vital element to your ability to create wealth beyond your wildest dreams.
Rupert Murdoch (like him or not) is a great example of someone who followed his passion and applied massive energy to grow his business from a local newspaper in Adelaide, Australia, to multiple newspapers in Australia, then into the United Kingdom and the USA and Asia.
He then went into other forms of media and built businesses in pay television, the internet and the film industry.

So in applying this lesson to your wealth creation, you need to understand your ‘why’, because wealth will not just come to you.
You need to know why you want it and how you will get it…
